This Memorial Day weekend, I was excited to celebrate with Charlotte (and, yes, parade some patriotic fits).  I took her on our first solo shopping trip, which was, of course, to Kohl's, and then the husband and I took her on her inaugural trip to Red Robin.  We wrapped it all up with a BBQ at my parents', and a good -- albeit exhausting -- time was had by all, especially Charlotte.  Next up: Char Bar's first birthday party.

Which will be a whole new level of exciting -- and exhausting.  But mostly exciting. 😁

Your patriotic outfits are amazing!!! I especially love the polka dot maxi dress paired with the polka dot shoes, and the adorable ensemble you wore to Red Robin - that hair tie is the cutest! Such a fun retro look. The photo of you three is so sweet, and Charlotte's outing to Red Robin looked like a blast! I love the ambiance you captured of the balloons and skyline. Lastly, your necklaces are real stunners! ❤️πŸ€πŸ’™

Happy (nearly) first birthday to Charlotte. What a lucky girl she is to have a mother with such a wonderful and quirky sense of style. You’re going to have great fun dressing her up. I love the heart sunglasses. (I wish I could get prescription glasses with frames like that), those polkadot shoes, and that headband. I’m shocked that you got that at Michael’s. I had no idea they had such things. I’ve actually been wanting a headband similar to that. Fortunately, I have things to return to Michael’s, so I’m going to rummage around and have a look. Thanks.

What a fun day out! Charlotte looks adorable in that dress and hat and cute socks !! You must be having so much fun dressing her ! Haven't been to Red Robin in a while. The hubby can't be trusted with his food choices there (milkshake, endless fries, burger etc) We are too old for that!! Anyway love your outfits especially the red polka dot shoes!!
