And by harvest I don't mean produce, but stuff that looks like produce but is plastic.  That's right.  I've changed my dΓ©cor -- and wardrobe -- from creepy to cozy in honor of the oft overlooked Thanksgiving.  This is new for me this year, just as decking the halls with skulls was new for me last Halloween.  It looks like I'm turning into my mother after all -- which, Mom, if you're reading, I mean in the best way possible!

Speaking of motherhood, I was decorating the fireplace while Char Bar watched from her blanket.  She was screaming up a storm, which she does when she's excited and/or frustrated.  So I shouldn't have been surprised when she rolled over onto her stomach for the very first time!  She couldn't roll back onto her back, though, so I had to turn her over.  Undeterred, she proceeded to roll -- and scream -- three more times as I kept one eye on her and one on my tchotchkes.  She hasn't stopped since, and I'm sure next year I'll be working overtime to prevent her from playing kickball with the pumpkins.

Some harvest that'll be!

Your fireplace decorations look so pretty and festive. I love the pic of you with the BIG yellow bow and the red dress facing backwards. It kind of adds more interest to the dress. So many cute outfits and I have a thing for acorns. I used to collect them as a kid and the memories stay with you. I do think we become more like our moms as we get older. I'm sure that Char will be doing lots of firsts in the coming year.

Oh, Char is on a roll! That made me smile! I do love many of the colors you are wearing. Very inspiring! So great you have it so Thanksgiving now! Thank you so much for reading and for your comments. I feel alittle bogged down lately. But that's the way it goes. I did survive a birthday party yesterday and someone was happy with her new Barbie with rainbow hair. In spite of the wind and rain on Saturday I did make it to Target. Although, I was on a mission since I found a sweet surprise and ROSS for Chirstmas, yet I needed a Barbie donner too. πŸ’πŸ’›πŸ¦ŠπŸ’ Meanwhile I'm excited for you and yours. I hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving. So love the vibrant colors and its great to see someone is enjoying these colorful moments too! πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ¦ŠπŸ¦ŠπŸ¦ŠπŸ¦Š Meanwhile, I feel I keep plowing through with Ellie and of course, Caitlin & Megan too!

Your harvest themed outfits are so beautifully fall-esque!! The burgundy with yellow makes such a foliage-inspired statement (as do your accessories!) I especially adore your floral red sweater, and the hot pink and aqua blue of the Square Dance Romance Necklace is super stunning! I enjoyed seeing your harvest dΓ©cor and reading about the adventures of Charlotte. I look forward to the future post about her playing kickball with the pumpkins! ❤️πŸ’œπŸ’›

I love all your colorful looks but in particular the red sweater over the yellow print blouse. And the decor in your home is so fun! Yes Thanksgiving decor is often overlooked. Oh boy soon enough she is going to up and running around and then you will really have your hands full! : )

Hope the wild fires are staying away where you are. My hubby is back in the hospital. Hopefully, they will find something for him to be on the mend.
