It's been a while since I blogged about a book or did a book post on Insta. Which is funny, because the Insta book was by Josie Silver too. But the heart wants what the heart wants, and apparently mine wanted love, loss, and a tear in the space-time continuum. Enter The Two Lives of Lydia Bird. Twenty-eight-year-old Lydia's fiancé dies in a car accident on her birthday. She escapes the pain by sleeping, dreaming about -- and quite possibly living -- their life as it might have been. But dividing her time and heart is a lot, raising more questions than it answers.
I love a love story, and The Two Lives of Lydia Bird is a good one. But ultimately, it's not about whom we're meant to be with, but whom we're meant to be. And I love that kind of story most of all.

Wow, what a touching read!! It sounds like quite the emotional journey, and I like the idea that it explores an imagined life if things had turned out differently. Especially amidst such a tragedy! 🦋💙✨
The book sounds very sad but about personal growth which I guess is a good thing. You have got me interested. Thanks for the review.
