Or is it? Blue raspberry is one of those flavors that's a regular in candy stores and ice cream shops but a stranger to nature.  Although the whitebark raspberry for which it's named has a purplish blue cast, it pales in comparison to the wild electric blue that we've come to associate with Flavor Ice and other frozen delights.  Nevertheless, it's always surprising to spoon up some blueberry-esque JELL-O only to experience a taste that should translate to a fruit that is red.  But then, that's part of the adventure of eating something made from powdered animal bones.  Fortunately, there are no animal products or incongruous flavors in this Fabulous Felt Blue Raspberry Gelatin Mold Barrette.  Just felt.  And -- wait for it -- love :)
