It's been a while since my last post.  This is partly because I've been busy wedding planning, but also because I've decided to shift my focus from blogging to crafting.  There are only so many hours in a day, and I like to spend my free ones making things that are pretty.  And interesting.  And weird.  But mostly pretty.  So, there will probably be lots of dry spells between blog updates, but I've made my peace with that and hope you will too.  

That having been said, here's my latest crop of classic roses.  I was lucky enough to locate a few more of those Offray alligator clips, so these barrettes double as brooches just like the ones from the good old days.  Which is perfect for those times when you want to pile on the posies, as I did with this carnation confection of a dress above.  Where's a good Barbie convention when you need one?
