I finally convinced the husband to -- safely, carefully, lovingly -- place Charlotte in the pack n' play to take these blink-and-you'll-miss-them porch pics. She was fine, it was fine, and I learned a lesson about not obsessing over the perfect shot. Gone are the days when I'd insist that the husband retake this or that pic because of bad lighting, bad hair, or, yes, my sometimes bad attitude. Now I make my peace with a couple of snaps and move on.
See? Baby girl and I are both growing up.
Anyway, this is what I wore to the husband's birthday dinner, Labcorp (diabetes has left the building!), and my first post-baby trip to Kohl's, Michaels, and Target. I was excited to break out my new Nine West clothes. Bold and tropical, they remind me of things that you'd wear on vacation.
Or that I'd wear to Target. 🌺🌴

Oh, so lovely! You do look vacation ready. Such little bags. I need one, but I carry my world in my Japanese style tote bag. You look radiant in these snaps! BTW I am now working with a framer from Michael's. Rose is an artist. And she and mother got a show this fall at one of our local museums this fall. ❤️💕💙🌈💛🌈💙💕❤️ Our last week at the library. & I am wearing the monitor. I go back on the 5th. Oh, the potluck just about did me in..I'm afraid. Although, I didn't sample much..cause, I had to have a bite of cake ..and there were 2! One chocolate that said, goodbye and the vanilla -Hello New Library. It was good to chat and she plans on giving me her Barbie's. She was very encouraging and likes my creativity. Of course, I probably don't need anymore Barbies..but of course, I always love finding a steal at Ross on occasion..and of course, doing a little customizing. I'm tempted to write some stories on Instagram..but it might be a waste of time. However, someone pulled out some packaging they were recyling at work and said, "I bet this might make a great Barbie couch." So I might have to do some interviews of On the Couch.
