Nothing says summer like fish, seashells, and colorful birds. I had fun getting back to my felt roots to create a new quartet of large-and-in-charge necklaces featuring these motifs. It was also fun to delve into my closet to build outfits around them. Doing so is always a great way to find out what I have and how many ways I can wear things. Sometimes realizing the sheer volume of stuff I've horded makes me think that there's no real reason to ever shop again. Not, of course, that I'd ever go so far as to impose a shopping ban. I've read about other fashion bloggers who've done it but know myself well enough to admit that it isn't for me.

Thanks! I'm always amazed by how much I love snake accessories, given my hatred of snakes. When I mentioned this to the bf he said it wasn't strange at all, that I probably liked snake bags, shoes, etc. because it meant that the snakes were dead.
Although none of my snake stuff is real, it gave me something to ponder . . .
