They (and Morgan Freeman) say that most of us have a bucket list. Or, in other words, things we want to do before we die. Items may include seeing the Great Barrier Reef, meeting Oprah, and skydiving. The point is, must-dos are usually lofty, even over-the-top to the point of being unachievable. Maybe that's why, to me, a bucket list simply spells pressure. And pressure's the very last thing that I want while thinking about The Grim Reaper.
Speaking of buckets, I was delighted to find a bucket bag shaped like an actual (beach) bucket. I almost missed out on it because it sold out the first time I saw it. I guess others, ahem, dig sandcastle style too.
Thankfully, no shovel -- or cyberstalking -- was required to make this Sunset Trip Necklace.

Isn't it amazing what keeps the pulse in an upswing. Yes, shopping does that to you. Especially, with items you want. I went through a Vera Bradley phase. Even though I was only looking at the "Seconds" at the outlet mall. Of course, later I felt..why did you spend so much? Evidently, I have a yarn phase although I'm not sure it was all me. A neighbor gave me hers. Then when she bought some fancy stuff on a trip..guess who got it..me? Honestly, it's so fancy I can find the ends of it and a cat might as well have made a mess of it.
I'm so happy you got that bucket bag. My bucket hat is coming. Strange though, I wasn't out to by the most expensive hat on Amazon and I see it's this set price of 7.99..as I'm looking at this brand..prices are going up. I paid about 12 dollars for it.
Thanks so much for your comments. I am glad to sneak in some of your art! Maybe folks over at URSTYLE will notice too. Melissa's story is probably more common than we know. All though it is a bit complicated..especially with Alfie who I feel is possible more gullible or is that oblivious of his own life. I've always felt Steve cared more for Alfie than he did for Simon when he was with him as in the "bromance" factor. While Alfie was certain Steve needed a boyfriend. Although, Alfie may or may not see what's coming. Although I've never thought of his character as sleazy and of course, Poppy doesn't see him this way..but things could change..=)
It's always good to see your post. I have noticed that some blogs I follow have closed shop. Maybe they are on vacation. Hopefully, it's not for good.
So many lovely things. I guess I am this way about certain books. Although, I see how well-dated they are now and insignificant. But they were inspiring. They were from the YA section. Thankfully, the ISLANDERS by K.A. Applegate are still around (originally The Making Out series she wrote with her husband Michael Grant). And I found the 3rd book in the series at Dollar tree. In a container somewhere I have the Little Black Book (at least part of the series) But I loved how it was in a diary format from a male's point of view and of course, I have hung on the Ducky Diaries from another diary series by Ann M. Martin. Of course, these are simply written, and of course, realize..oh these didn't tell us anything about what really happened.
Of course, you'd think I must hate "Tori" as much as I put her through. It is funny over time how we meet people and suddenly they think we are friends when they actually know nothing or you and the fact is..they don't even want to know. Although, Frankie feels he might know Tori better than she even knows herself.
My friend and the chicken feet..she ate them while she was high (she used to be a library co-worker who moved away). She never calls unless she is high. Although, she does like my writing but then this woman could read anything yet not remember it. Yes, she was the one who inspired me to write Caitlin and Megan and Caitlin is a much sweeter version of her. Thankfully, Caitlin hasn't gotten too mixed up with drug dealers and her neighbors.
Again, thanks so much for being here. All the best to your creativity and your shop.
I love how you make your outfits work with so much color. Now has the bucket beg inspired you to make one of your own? I am so glad you did get one. Fantastic post. You have such a fun and wonderful voice in writing!
Initially, when I started writing Lockdown I was to write it with somebody from England..thus..that is why it takes place in England. A roleplaying activity. Seriously, to roleplay I think you need know that person well.. Although, she would say she wanted this format, but then she'd write her part in not a diary format. Of course, after saying you need to know this person might not be true. Once I met someone online and everything clicked and we just wrote together in a personal message. Of course, that was a bit of one shot, but it was fun. Anyway, with this person, I was very offended what she was making my "Maxie" say and do. So I wouldn't have anything of it. Honestly, I might not be a very good roleplayer. But I guess her goal was for Maxie & Amber to have a baby together and yet I have nixed that..evidently.
Thank you so much for your comments. Oh, and I really need to make that blender cake too! I hope you have a great week.
you can take items and make with them so gorgeus look:)
Spectacular outfit, ready for the beach!! Those jelly flip flops are awesome. The bucket bag is totally cute and I love the tie-in about bucket lists; I agree they are a lot of pressure! "And pressure's the very last thing that I want while thinking about The Grim Reaper." - Well said! Your Sunset Trip Necklace is gorgeous and definitely vacation-ready, without the jetlag, as you said! 😃
I've always wondered when it became a bucket list.
To me, and millions of others, it was always a To-Do List. And you know I have one every year. And every month, and every week, and it's hanging on my bookcase...and it's on my blog...BIG to-do list.
