Fall is a fine time to honor the trees.  Even if 1) Arbor Day is in April and 2) Jim Gaffigan says that looking at the fall foliage is like crashing the trees' hospice (this is real; Google it).  So that's why I'm smirking at a tree trunk, dressed like a hippie, in outfit pic number two.

That said, the leaves are late in turning this year.  Probably because of global warming.  But I can fix that.  Not global warming -- I'm not Al Gore -- but the lack of forest finery.  Or, if not fix, then craft a semi-suitable stand-in.

That's right.  Felt -- if not help -- is on the way.  So stay tuned, if not pruned, until next time.

Such cool boots! Love the blue ones and the brown ones too! That first pic is great for Pink October! So many lovely outfits! Yes, I've noticed the leaves haven't turned much here too. Not like this time last October. No brilliant reds and bright yellows on our street. Granted the past decade or two we have lost trees to storms. But some survived..hopefully. It was a gloomy weekend here. And I finally finished Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils. I'm not sure what I was waiting for..but not that ending. Yet I should have expected it.

Love the cuff bracelet too. You have been busy designing! Hope all is going well.

Years ago, I had a friend who loved to crochet wraps for tree trunks. I am not sure why. Basically, it was a fall thing she did. I dunno if it was for the birds to unravel for nest or what. I just don't think I could do that for a tree.

Love your style! Oh, and hippie-style too! So many beautiful bags and bangles! Lovely necklaces too!

And to think what the trees have been through these past few years of global warming. So sad. Although, plenty of squirrels have over taken our big maple. Someone told me while he was out bird hunting once he heard a tree crack and out came a family of raccoons. I have to wonder what else might be living in that tree. Also the barn owls visit usually this time of year, but I haven't heard one. As of late it feel winter arrives just before spring..so there is the great melt down. Yes, I guess times are definitely changing. Thanks so much for the lovely Monday post. Hope you have a good week. & thank you so much for the comments. Hopefully, I have enough happening in my story blog. Of course, the first comment I had in my last post the polish reader was like "I don't know what's going on..." Oh well..

Oh, such a beautiful wardrobe. I can see it's not sweater weather yet. Lovely dresses! So love how you accessorize too. October is marching on. Hopefully, Autumn will get going here, too. Yet, I am not even in the mood for Halloween. Give me a week, and maybe I will change my mind...=) I do have lunch with Paulie this week. Hopefully, I will survive. I know I go on about "Carefully Listening" and I tend to be a good listener, but usually, I can finish the story before Paulie can, but I don't. Hopefully, you are having some beautiful October moments! Thanks for the wonderful post! And as always, thank you for the wonderful comments. I just didn't get back to the pink wig I hope to make, but I did some copying at the library and some cutting and at least have my trio of unicorns with flowers in glittery frames. Hopefully, for a birthday gift.

Such a beautiful Monday post. Love that pink outfit! But I love the other's too. Oh, I think you can bring the Hippie Style back...=)

Yes, we need to love those trees. I noticed we have an organization that has already planted trees after many were broken during our summer storm. Also many have decided to remove big trees before another catastrophe. Definitely, an important topic!

So many pretty things! You rock! Such beautiful outfits.

Oh, the beauty of trees. I love the lush canopy they can give to our streets. But many came down during our straight winds storm and people are still picking up the pieces. Of course, the damage might have been done decades before with ice storms, but they were still standing. Trees as sturdy as they look are fragile too.

Happy October! Make the most of it!

Pink and blue are such a cute color combo!!! Your blue boots go so perfectly with the handbag! And the necklace picks up the colors, too. The fringe barrette is stunning and looks beautifully Native American-inspired! The floral navy blouse is so pretty with the bell-sleeves, and I totally LOVE the pairing of the round blue purse with the round desert barrette!!! Lastly, the unicorn purse with the cowboy boots and sundress is so country glam. The Lady Love Bug necklace is absolutely adorable!!! I love the cartoon style of the lady bug and heart. "...looking at the fall foliage is like crashing the trees' hospice" - LOL!!! That is the funniest description of fall I've ever read! The leaves here are late in turning this year too...we need some Tote Trove felt creations to kick it into gear!

Enjoying your lighter pastel colors in your outfits this week. I'm always up for honoring and hugging the trees. I've noticed that on our street, the trees have suddenly begun to change colors and have been falling down very rapidly. I'm enjoying the fall.
