Pants and Plants and Produce

Pants: Boscov's; Tee: Candies, Kohl's; Wristlets: City Streets, JCPenney

On Saturday night, when the husband said that he planned to go to the farm stand on Sunday morning, I was like, challenge accepted.  Then I set my alarm for the ungodly hour of 9:30, just like the real farmers, and plucked these pajama-like pants from the back of my closet.  I hadn't worn them in years.  They've very '90s, with the vertical stripes and the tie at the waist -- as are the lettuce-hem tie-dye tee and rainbow scrunchie I picked out to go with them.  I was glad I took pains to plan ahead -- and also to not sleep 'til noon.  Because it was beautiful this morning, and it felt good to be out and getting these shots of the vibrant peppers and petals.  As cheesy as it sounds, Mother Nature's color palette never fails to astound me.

I suppose I could say the same about the early-to-bed-early-to-rise lifestyle of agriculturalists.  But my inner night owl won't let me.

Oh, how fun! Sleeping in would be 9:30 for me. I dunno, maybe because I grew up on a farm but I have always been an early bird no matter what. And I kind of hate that when you are visiting somewhere and are ready for coffee by 5:30 in the morning and no one gets up before 8 (hence I bring my own coffee and pourover cup. Also because of the long days I tend to get up earlier too because of sensing the sunrise. Glad those pajama pants were useful too! Such lovely veg! We haven't seen much of that at our Farmer's Market. Lots of greens, onions, and snow peas here. Looks like a wonderful Sunday morning! & such a cool summer outfit too! 💕💗💖❤️🧁 I survived the weekend at the library. We had a puzzle race and someone put a 1000-piece puzzle together in 20 minutes.

Every Saturday morning I go to the local farmers market which is about 25 minutes away to get local produce. It's my Saturday ritual except I get up about 7:30 AM ( like every other day ) I'm a morning person and love going out in the early morning sun for my walk. The produce from your farmer's stand looks amazing.. You did not share what you bought!

Your stylish pin-stripe outfit fits perfectly with the sea of florals and produce!!! The morning color palette of Mother Nature certainly is an amazing sight to behold. 💖☀️

So many beautiful flowers! We see few of those in our market. There are lots of food vendors here, but it is a nice setup in the park. I love the pajama pants. If only I could wear my pajama pants with elephants to work. Great that you had the opportunity to wear them with the summer tee.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 Thanks for the comments! Oh, it is interesting how I feel I hardly have time for the 4th now..of course, all the fireworks going on..it lets me know. Hopefully, I will get back to Rachel soon..and the ocean. I hope you guys have a delightful holiday. Oh, if only it could be a Monday instead of a Tuesday. Definitely a good time for all those cold salads and to stay in and chill.

Lovely farmer's market! And a great pic of you too! I hope you guys got lots of goodies. 💙💙💙❤️❤️❤️💙💙💙 thanks for your comments. Oh, the changes...and of course, its been fun seeing Tristan take the challenge with Mona and of course, her having to move on from the breakup. Although, I don't like breakups. And a lot of times, I know I avoid confrontations..even in fiction. 💙💙💙❤️❤️❤️💙💙💙 I hope you are having a very productive June. I still haven't really gotten to stuff I should have done months ago. Stay cool, Night Owl and thanks for being here.

Oh, I feel like the worst! I don't mean to be so demanding. Although, it is weird how suddenly, you won't see somebody's blog in your feed and then suddenly, there are three of their posts in a row. Anyway, I do apologize.💙💙💙❤️❤️❤️ Thanks for your comments. Although, I will confess I do wonder if I put some off with my Yuki and Emily story. On the other hand, meeting the one author at the author fest did inspire "Zelli" and of course, I have lots of scenarios going on in my head about Zelli and Axton too... yet, I chose ..lets go the ordinary route except they have their own issues too. 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙I am so glad you went to see Little Mermaid! I still haven't seen it, although, I want to! I hope you have a fantastic July ahead of you..and I am enjoying many of your pics of fabrics and items to use in my collages! & be looking for CAKE soon! Still, I feel some of my faclaims are having to evolve too. Hopefully, for the better.

I'd say that's more than appropriate for a farmer's market.
