Surprise! Last week's bit of a breather was actually a family vacation. The husband and I, my parents, and my sister and her family piled into a house in Ocean City. And one of my favorite things to do on vacation (aside from eating my weight in salt water taffy) is take colorful pictures. So here are (more than) a few of my favorites.

We have had rain so that makes it harder for them to clear out the hole to repave which means you have to go out of the parking lot the wrong way now. Hope you've read some good books. And lots of fun with your family. So great to see them on a sweet vacation. Oh, the pizza and all that ice cream looks so good! Glad you're back!
What a fun vacation to be at the shore with family! I love the pics and recognize so many of them including Lucy in Margate! We've done 2 day trips to the Jeraey shore- one to Longport/Margate area to visit dear friends who have a condo there and one to Avon by the Sea (which is 55 minutes away) to spend the day celebrating my oldest sons birthday with his family. I noticed that people from our area refer to the "shore". People I've met outside Jersey and Philadelphia call it - the beach!! Love your pics and glad you had a wonderful time

Oh, I'm having to make up some time at work due to the days we were closed. Whe are hatching chicks in the library..and they are finding their voice! We now have 3!

Thanks for the comments! Oh, I am glad you could understand Gage's story. I have been entertaining myself I'm afraid with some characters. Although, I have been wanting to bring in Cedric for awhile..and I am sure I have meandered with Dory more than I should. & will they ever find Zelli? Wow! About the salt water taffy too! That's a lot! So love the idea of you guys vacationing somewhere at a house like that. So wonderful and I am glad you could be there with such lovely weather too.
Dreary and muggy here, but we have cucumbers and maybe tomatoes soon too. Hopefully, the eggplant is growing. All the best to a beautiful August☀️
Did Jersey Shore get a bad reputation from the show of the same name, and the likes of RHOJ? Coz that actually looks great and quite a lot of fun.
