Something New and Sparkly - Suited for Strawberries

Suit: Boscov's
Blouse: Alloy
Shoes: Betseyville, Macy's
Bag: Target
Barrette: The Tote Trove

Suits are usually no nonsense.  That's kind of what makes them suits.  Whenever I'm presented with such a stern, utilitarian look, I can't help but mess with it, even if just a little.  Apparently I'm not alone in this.  In that now-infamous and much-blogged-about "New Girl" episode Jess (Zooey Deschanel) faces off with Nick's uptight lawyer girlfriend about the boredom of boardroom fashion (and so much more!): "And I hate your pants suit. I wish it had ribbons on it or something just to make it slightly cuter but that doesn’t mean I’m not smart and tough and strong.”  Riveting, no?  This little Fabulous Felt Strawberry Pair Barrette of mine seemed like a smart, sassy way to pin on the pretty.  Take that, briefcase.

Just like this ensemb, you're the berries!

Seriously, you gotta get yourself out there. Yeah, open up some sort of style website, where you hash over your fashions/their fashions/fashion finds. I absolutely love "Tracyspeak"! (<-- your clever way of writing about what you see and do.)

I love what you've done! From the polka dot blouse and bag (I LOVE polka dots!) and those fabulous shoes, to your own marvelous strawberry pin (very sweet!) you've blown the old briefcase right out of the water! Yes, I love what you've done indeeed-this suit is definitely "no nonsense" no more!
