Head Honcho Horticulture: Who's the Real Botanical Boss?

Once upon a time, I said moss was boss.  But that's not true.  Because Bob Ross is boss, despite (or perhaps because of) his ever-serene demeanor.  The other day, I was filling a flamingo planter with fake flowers when I had a sprig leftover and thought, why not give it to Bob?

He deserves a 'fro grow, especially because I never allowed him to reach his Chia Pet potential.

So bloom where you're planted, Bob.  This bud's for you.

Thanks for the smile this morning. I'm afraid I am killing my succulent that the spirit club gave me as a Christmas present. What was I thinking when I said that was my choice. I could have gotten an Amazon gift card. Such a vibrant garden you have going there. Good look with Bob!

Oh, he really needed YELLOW. I think of Will Farrel when I think of Bob Ross. He really needs to be him in a full-length movie. Did you watch the documentary? A couple years back, once a month we would have the Bob Ross workshop at the library. This meant, you just watched the show and tried to paint along. Oh, such an awful painting I made. But I made a couple of friends and it was cool to see what they could create. I hope you guys are having a good weekend. We do plan to see some family today. I worked so hard at making potato salad and a cool whip pudding pie. I have no idea if anyone will like it. All I can say, now I know why I stopped making potato salad. Just too much to do with potatoes. Of course, it took all weekend to figure out when we could get together. On the upside, it's great when a 5-year-old is looking forward to a chocolate cream pie.

Birds and flowers! Such a beautiful blue backdrop!

I have not watched the Bob Ross documentary on Netflicks. A part of me, wants him to be left alone. It was fascinating to watch someone so in the zone while making art. I don't want to mess that up.

I used to have a chi hedgehog..hmmm. I wonder where that one went off too.

Thanks so much for the post. Our little tomatoes are being picked off by the birds. We have grapes climbing in the crab apple tree. Now if the eggplants keep growing. But usually, something will get to them before we do. Gosh I'm starting to sound like I have multiple personalities..=)

I hope you have a lovely September!

How cute is that!!! The blue wall behind it makes these photos pop. Bob Ross looks positively radiant with the yellow flower arrangement sprouting from his head! And the term "'fro grow" is genius. I'm really digging your cactus/flower display and those little birds!

Hilarious!

We've been getting his show here in Aus all year. Must be a lockdown thing.
