A vacation's not a vacation without a souvenir -- or two or three. And this is my Cape May trifecta:
- Postcard of Congress Hall (framed once I got home)
- Handmade blue ribbon brooch from the artisan paradise that is West End Garage
- Lemon lotion from Beach Plum Farm
Every time I look at them, I'll think of shopping and shellfish.

Oh, its so hard to find post cards anywhere these days. A friend was telling me how she had got connected to a post card site (like a pen pal kind of thing around the world..but you had to send post cards and she had to go to Amazon just to get postcards..crazy). I have made Ken some joggers from an old cloth mask I had. And they turned out much better than I expected.

Adoring your souvenirs! I love this idea about framing postcards! Oh, this might be the start of some great weekend trips ahead, or finding more creative adventures at home too. I hope you are having a beautiful May! The summer reading program is coming soon...which also means a lot of staff goes on vacation too..but I doubt I go anywhere. However, I just might make a Barbie Doll Room yet. Of course, it might be out of a shoebox. Meanwhile, I still have a few BeachHouse stories in me..and hopefully, I will get back to Zoe & Kye too!
