Piece of Fake Necklace

By now we all know that I deem color king queen.  But sometimes nothing beats a black and white canvas to make it really pop.  So with that in mind, I put together these gray scale-based outfits and then piled on the neck candy.  I made two of the pieces by upcycling rhinestone necklaces that belonged to my aunt.  It's fun to find new stuff to use in my jewelry; if it's already in the house, then even better.

Speaking of home, the cherry tree in the first pic is at the edge of my backyard.  Although the husband and I have lived here for more than four years, I was surprised to see it in bloom.  In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, I never noticed it -- or maybe I did and thought it was the neighbors'.  Anyway, I'm grateful that life is slower now so I can appreciate it -- and all the other beautiful things that have always been at my doorstep.

This doesn't, however, extend to the pair of mangled underwear at the edge of the front yard.

We live on a busy street, near a bus stop.  We see things.

Such fantastic color! You do know how to make things pop when it comes to color. Such a great lesson. Love those boots too! Wonderful about the cherry tree. I love the bag and the jewelry and headbands too! Awesomeness all the way around!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ OMG I couldn't believe all the ridiculous comments on "RICE" with the Remi & Yuki story..but I can see some stories make some very uncomfortable and of course I dunno if some can even decipher what's going on..but thank you so much for your comment. I greatly appreciate it. & of course, you are always inspiring too. Thanks for reading. I hope you are having a good week before the spring holiday.

Oh, I do love how you make that bag pop in the first pic. I love that wonderful black skirt too. Love this post. Such great color! And I love your hair too! Yes, spring has sprung. Oh, you just never know what might be blowing in the wind around here. Yes, we see things too. Sometimes, in the trees too! Such a great post!

Well, the storm left more dirt than anything in spite of dime-sized hail. The tornado ended up in Iowa. LIV- possibly you'll notice I changed the faceclaim since it was always hard (and limited) to actually see her face. But her personality hasn't changed. Thanks so much for being here! All the best to a lovely week and holiday.

Beautiful post! Awesome color! Love how you captured it in these outfits. I so adore those blue boots too! Some amazing little essentials in each outfit too!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I am sure you might find some fun in this new retelling novel, but it was just a little too much for me. Yes, I definitely have a hard time moving through Austen's language, and this is definitely not the problem in this version. I guess I wanted it to be a little more 'real'. I felt she had too many things going for her and how did she have time for anything. But maybe that's what the folks used to think about 'Emma' too all those centuries ago.

The lady face bag totally makes the first outfit!!! What a gorgeous backdrop with the cherry tree, too. The "Love" top is stunning and your pretty new necklaces add that epic "neck candy"! The sushi bar top is so cool and I have seen it before on Dolls Kill, admiring it each time I spot it while scrolling! The rose bracelet goes so well with it. I love the shot of your shoes with the yellow socks! And, I must say your "findings" near your front yard sound...er, very interesting! Yikes!!!
