As you know, these days I've been shopping my closet instead of the stores, and so far it's been lots of fun. Above are the three items from my last Kohl's order, which arrived about a month ago. If the polka dot top looks familiar, then it's because I have the matching skirt.
That said, I did get a package today. It was from Amazon, so it was just essentials like packing tape, soap, and printer ink. Also, books -- because they're the most essential of all. I was so excited that I took a pic:

Clearly, I misspoke when I said that I was checking out on chick lit, as here are two gems of the genre. Ironically, they're bookending Pay It Forward, which I wanted to read only after reading about it in Love & Other Words.
It seems that chicks and their lit, pink covers and all, still have a great deal to teach me.

I love the navy skirt and top. So funny that you say now days you are shopping from your closet but this order was only from a month ago. I think it's great how you love reading and your books. I like to read but I can not call myself an avid reader. My mother-in law used to read two books a week after age 80 and prior to that when her eye sight was stronger, she could even manage three. I read a book a month so I don't consider myself a book lover! I do like Netflix!! Have a great week!

Interestingly, we were talking at work, when we left home and how some families still have kids who are home after college. Of course, it is that time of year when new semesters going. Although, I think a lot of colleges have changed so much since the pandemic. I have one friend who hasn't gone to a campus class in years. Your goodies from Kohl's are sooooo cute!!! I love the dark navy color against the hot pink backdrop. The skirt style is gloriously retro and the way they all three match each other is stunning! And, the excitement that comes with new books is always fun and something to look forward to. Cheers to continuing to embrace chick lit, and all that it has to teach! :)
