It may not be Easter.  Or even Labor Day.  But that's no reason to not wear white shoes on Thanksgiving!  I was so excited to bust out my treasured white and yellow Mary Janes with my purple tights and new orange dress.  Which is why outfit number one, although less harvesty than the others, won out this Turkey Day.  Hey, at least it's orange, like a pumpkin!

That said, happy Thanksgiving.  May your stews (or casseroles or soups or whatever) and shoes be as fab as your company.

And if your company is less than fab, then fake the flu and go online shopping.

So Thanksgiving festive in the first outfit! Well, all the outfits are very festive! I hope it was a lot of fun with friends and family. Yes, I kind of like doing a bit of a holiday sampler in both blogs...and try to keep the plot thickening, too..but that doesn't mean it always works...

I did feel it was time for a change with Roman and LaLa. I did want to create a situation where it was more consental which I think Roman has somehow missed in other situations. And of course, Deano is a little lost without Roman around for the holiday.

I hope you guys had some fun times. It was very casual here. A friend did wear her Native American vibe sweater and she brought the most awesome pie Cranberry Apple Crumb Pie. We may never go back to just pumpkin pie now. Lots of coffee drinking. And adults had much more fun building Legos.

OH..and the DRAMA with Barbie and Jimmin from BTS. Someone had great fun in laying down the law to him in several scenes. If only I could have written down the dialogue.

I wore my apron a good bit of the time. It was an apron someone made me all though, my favorites are the crossover kind which I wore before anyone got here. My favorite is one that I made out of an old shirt, but an added pocket just for my cell phone. I really need to do some sewing.

Thanks so much for your comments! Happy Black Friday❤

Happy Post Thanksgiving! I hope you guys had a fun one with Family and more. Oh, so cold here. Definitely, a time for indoors! I so love that dress with you holding the Apples..I think it can be worn all of the holidays! Such lovely florals.

I will definitely be chilling this Black Friday. We ended up with the smoked turkey. I guess everyone was Thanksgivened out. Of course, the one who brought the veggie tray only limited us to a certain amount of time with it. And the green bean casserole has a lot of added fat to it. Hopefully, I don't have too many stories going on. Some are much more sentimental and emotional than others.

I read a little on Sagan's "Maddening Ache" and I did like the start of it.

All the best to a wonderful weekend!

So good to sleep in on Black Friday! I just might need another cup of coffee or two. I didn't post anything new with the Another MAX & AMBER..maybe Sunday, but maybe not.

All the best to your creativity, Happy Reading and more during this weekend and beyond.

Thanks so much for being here. Love your influence! ❤

I can totally see why the first dress won out on Turkey Day!!! You look awesome and totally festive - orange is a great color for these autumn days. The purple tights are a great pair with it, too! And I also love the other outfits as well, especially the foliage barrette & brooch with the yellow dress and the shot with the apples in the final photo! The white and yellow Mary Janes are totally cute. (Side note: I love how your rings are gifted from Italy!) I hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving with your stews and shoes!!!

I LOVE the purple tights, and aren't Mary Janes just the most comfortable shoes ever? They tend to be my "go to" shoes these days.

Very festive outfit for Thanksgiving and love the orange color! In general, I tend to wear a lot of black and that's probably what I wore for Thanksgiving ( I think). Your colorful great outfits inspire me to add some more color to my wardrobe

I'm all for wearing what you want. As an Aussie, I really don't get the whole white/labor day thing.
