Unmellow Yellow

I've had this (green) bunch of bananas for two weeks.  I'm beginning to get concerned.

On this day before Thanksgiving Eve, it's a musing that's as good as any.

What in the world? I thought that was a painting? I did see a banana brownie recipe that looked really tasty but I guess you have to have ripe bananas for that.

I have been doing way too much housecleaning..and of course, there are the combining TV series to work on in cataloging. And must I forget other stories going on.

I am making a nobake pumpkin pie. We shall see...if it works (Lots of Jello vanilla pudding is involved). After all, I have just learned the green bean casserole. Still, those things taste better when someone else makes them.

Hope you have a great holiday with family. Here's to good conversations and fun times.

Thanks as always for being the blogger you are and more.

Wow! What are they doing to those bananas lately? Lovely artistic photo!

We are hosing this year and I am not fond of it. I hope everyone will behave. A few years back someone drank all day while he was smoking a turkey and hadn't eaten all day. Of course, more drinking commenced during the dinner. By the end, he was wanting to beat up his little brother. Something none of us had ever seen before. Hopefully, that won't happen again. Although, someone is still smoking turkeys. Perhaps, the muse who inspires all my smoked meat stories...=)

Happy Thanksging!

OH NO...I do like my bananas green, however. Hope everything else is going OK.

Let's say I have been procrastinating..so that means writing more. Also making a Barbie sleeping bag and another sewing project or two have somehow been involved too. The days start of cold, but then end mild. Thankfully. Oh, so much to be thankful for, but I will probably be in my stretchy Thanksgiving leggings and oversized tunic that is made for dinners like these (Possibly could be a cheap pj top..but no one will ever know..but you and me.)

I hope you have some great times. Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you so much for being here..and being YOU!

With everything flying off the shelves these days..those bananas are in for the long haul..evidently. Recently, I stopped by at the Dollar Tree for a dollar favorite and the store was practically ransacked. I had never seen it that bare before. Not even a puzzle to be had. Oh, these troubled times.

Hope you are staying well. My last post must not make any sense at all..Or so it seems. Hopefully, you can figure it out. Seriously, I didn't mean to be that mysterious.

All the best to the beginning of Happy Holidays!

Every now and then I get a bunch of bananas that stay green on the outside and appear to never ripen. Yet, when I peel them, they are fine. Try one and see what happens- I mean how long can you wait!!!!

You've had those for 2 WEEKS?!?!!!!!! Normally they've turned way brown beyond edibility by then! It seriously looks like a beautiful painting. In fact, I thought it was in the thumbnail before clicking on the post! Love the tropical background! Happy Thanksgiving Eve to you! 😀

How is the banana situation?

Thanks for reading. And your comment too. Of course, I am always pushing the envelope..so to speak.... yet as they say knowledge is power. Even in a Wuxia fantasy.

Hope you guys are doing well and are getting ready for some great festive times with your friends and family, or just chilling at home. All the best on a Happy Thanksgiving!
