Whenever I hear the word "colorblock," I think of a Rubik's Cube. Which is a puzzle I could never solve. Thankfully, when it comes to fashion, the rules of color coordination are more forgiving. That's why I love a good colorblock sweater (also, a good striped top, but this isn't about you, stripey). Dramatic and bold, these pullovers put it all out there, giving the rest of your outfit a party palette to play with.
But back to the beginning and that cocky cube. Being bested by it didn't stop me from buying it in tissue box cover form:
It holds court in my craft room offering, not tissues, but the artistic equivalent of trash talk inspiration.
Hit me with your best snot, Sir Rubik.

Oh, you are a natural at color blocking. Love the plaid skirt in the mix too! Such great bags you find too. Oh, you do look a little cold in that "snow". Hope you guys are having good weather.
We had snow and some out with COVID. Yesterday, only two of us most of the days. Some live where it took most of the day for the snowplow to get to them. Yes, it's definitely January. But at least I've had a bit more time to write.
Thanks so much for this post. Just what I needed! Something bright and you always give me a smile, too.
Such a cool cube! I so love the yellow skirt..in the first outfit. Such a pop of color. Lovely sweaters too. Oh, such a funny last paragraph too! Such great necklaces too! & the colors you find for those shoes...AMAZING!
Hope January is treating you right. Thanks so much for your wonderful posts! Stay warm and cozy! It hasn't been that much fun digging out of our last snow, but hopefully warmer days are ahead.
It seems here, some who thought they were over COVID..are still coming down with COVID. Always something that makes me uneasy. Of course, I have had to write about it.
This is such a fun post! You have some amazing sweaters too! So many sweet little touches too. Awesome butterfly bag! Oh, and those artistic necklaces too. Some amazing attire!
I have never been very good at color blocking, but thanks for showing the way!
Hopefully, you are enjoying January to its fullest! Happy weekend!
Thank you so much for your comments! At least my library weekend is over! & I have off tomorrow. It looks likes the people I know who have COVID are OK but won't be back til Friday. Thanks so much for saying it was good to talk about "Covid". It's amazing the stories I've heard from people I work with and patrons too. Of course, the snow has been a big issue here, too. I hope the winter weather isn't too bad there.
Thanks so much for being here. And I so adore your wardrobe..oh, and those hairdos are amazing too!
All the best to staying inspired and hope you have lots of wonderful winter reads!
You rock the colorblock!!! (That was a cheesy line on my part, I know, but it's true!) That sunshine yellow skirt sure is pretty, and pairs perfectly with your 80s Explosion Necklace. The striped top looks super cute with the golden tights and fur-lined jacket; that Betsey Johnson butterfly purse is gorgeous!! The black and white top with the cut-outs is amazing, and the Rockin' Locks Necklace is the perfect centerpiece. The scrunchies are the perfect touch with your flower bag, too! Lastly, your Rubik's cube tissue cover is the coolest; your last line of the post is hilarious!! I could never figure out a Rubik's cube, either.
You are the best when it comes to color blocking!
Such beautiful interesting outfits and amazing shoes. I absolutely love the off one shoulder look and the eyelit on the yellow skirt. I know how freezing cold its been, how did you even get the shots outside? Great colors
I love your off the shoulder look and the yellow eye-lit looking skirt. All the outfits are beautiful and interesting but the SHOES blow me away. I know its been freezing outside- so I can't imagine how you did the outdoor shots...
Haven't seen the tissue box cover before, but do have a Rubik's handbag.
