Remember Colorforms?  Maybe you, your kids, or your grandkids played with them as way back as the '50s when they first came out, or as recently as yesterday.  I came to know them in the '80s, when I had a Rainbow Brite set.  And then I became reacquainted with them when I bought a Hello Kitty set on my honeymoon.

This week, this sweater made me think of them again.  The turquoise, magenta, and yellow remind me of their adorable little mascot:

How could he not be happy, drenched in such cheerful color?  I like to think I'm like him in that way, playing with clothes like they're crayons, getting a fresh sheet of paper each day.

Shakespeare said that all the world is a stage, but maybe it's a coloring book.

So many delightful colors! Such fun. Such an elegant dress in that last photo with those pumped-up pumps! Wow! Such powerful necklaces too! What a rainbow of color! Love your inspiration! So many surprises in this one.

It's amazing how boring our conversations can get at work. Especially, about food and drink...but you never know where I might pull from while I'm writing. And of course, the feelings of spring. Thanks so much for your comments! All the best to a St. Paddy's day. Although, I might be working on a tee shirt or two that eve at the maker's space which we stole from the computer room. The computers are now on the floor. Our spaces are getting tight at the library.

You are brave. I'm glad you wrote a post about your experience. It might be just what someone needs to read.

I do love your passion for color! You so make it work. I wore my blue checked pants from 5 Below yesterday. Such a lovely spring color. And many said they loved my pants! While all along my boss was in black.....

Thanks for letting me know that a certain novel is on your shelf. I have read mixed reviews on this one, but there is a lot I like about that Irish author.

Such a great last line! So many wonderful outfits. Such fun necklaces too! Adoring the post.

Oh, that Frankie is always worried about something..hopefully, it won't throw another wrench into Bea and Frankie's romance. Thank you so much for reading and keeping up with the story. I really appreciate it.

Hope your March is delightful and full of spring fun.

I have forgotten about chloroforms long ago, and I would have thought you were way to0 young to know about them. Who knew they were still around!! I am really intrigued with the hot pink shoes and the black heart nylons anklets! Quite a show stopper!!

Thanks..about the humor in Eddie's Ti Chi class.. 💖 A few weeks ago I went to a class we have at the library. And it was fun and such interesting people. The leader said he hoped they could do the class outside. Still, it's been too windy and chilly. There was such a variety of people and most go where ever he goes to teach a class.

Oh my gosh!!!!! That first outfit! The way you stacked your scrunchies is EPIC. And the checkered overall dress! The lime green beret is super adorable with the checkered skirt and striped top. And, those heart socks with the heels! I love how your yellow headband matches your banana purse. The photo of you with the chunky necklaces, scrunchie and grey/purple/blue top is so retro! Lastly, the yellow and black dress with the bright blue tights and colorful accessories is the cherry on top of this post. I never cease to be amazed by your amazing color pairings and outfits; everything about it is always gloriously nostalgic and amazing to look at! Thanks for teaching me what Colorforms are, by the way!

Oi, scrunchies! I still have mine from the 80s/90s. I bought them and made them, and can't believe they've had a second resurgence since then.
