The Scotts know how to live life right, and I'm not even talking about Outlander or the preppy prints popping in these outfits. (Okay, yes, as always, I am talking about the outfits. But this time they're the strong, silent character that gives gravitas to the wonkily painted trees in the background while the louder if seemingly more insignificant characters shout and dodge each other's tossed apples. Did I mention that those trees were apple trees and that this is a middle school play?). I'm talking about Scotch tape, or as it's more officially called by the good people at 3M, Magic Tape.
And it is indeed magic, as much so as the unicorn on my wristlet. I should know; I recently used quite a bit of it wrapping birthday gifts for my mom and nephew (their b-days are one day apart; Mom calls them "birthday buds"). And no, this isn't a paid plug for 3M, although as I always say in such situations, I wouldn't turn down some green or even a case of these craft room must-haves. Because if you've ever used any other kind of adhesive, then you know that it barely works and runs out long before you've finished wrapping Aunt Aggie's argyle compression socks.
So, yeah. I love Scotch tape. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
Next stop on the Scottish Express (i.e., the train that runs through the apple orchard): handbags that look like bagpipes.

You so know how to rock those plaids! Love the sweater from Delia's! Oh, and those sleepytime critters! So great to see so many plaid styles. And OH JESSICA! Wow on those boots! Love the look!
Oh, such a chilly wind here. The sun is out..but it was brisk again. Sounds like you've had some fun with Scotch tape too! Makes me think of the time I taped up my teen idols. Oh, such a delicate matter. I guess contact paper would have been too much. But I loved that box.
Hope you are having a good weekend. Thanks again for your comments and inspirations!
Brilliant showcase! Love your sweaters too. So many cool shoes! Yes, plaid is so lovely! Such a fun commentary too! And adoring your new necklace, as well! Lately, I've been listening to sweet Tavern tunes on a loop when I go to bed. Darn, I haven't had any great fantasy dreams as of yet.
Hope you guys have some great Birthdays! March is marching on. Thanks so much for reading and your comments. So great to see your post. I adore your fashion! Very inspiring!
Love how you put these outfits together. Wonderful! Oh, those little touches too. Great stuff from SHEIN! & DOLLS KILLSπ Hope you are ready for the time change. This will probably affect me somehow..all week. I was supposed to go in at 7:30 for a dental tomorrow and I admitted defeat. No way could I sleepwalk there.
But I love how you switched it up with this post! So fun! Much more so than the time change.
The yellow is so cool. I love the striped sweater too. And I adore the Tweety sweatshirt as well. Lovely Jessica Simpson boots, but I adore the darker ones as well.
I shall confess, I am very bad at wrapping packages. Most things are in a goodie bag on gift-giving occasions.
Thanks so much for your comments. I finally got in a little last-minute story just for St. Paddy's day, even if I posted it on Saturday. Have a great green week!
Cool outfits! Thanks for sharing.
I invite you to visit my last post. Have a good week-end!
I adore your first outfit❤
OMG! I've been all about yellow lately and love the combination of yellow, reds, and purples in your outfits and jewelry! The plaid Jessica Simpson boots put me over the edge- I think I'm in love- You are so ready for spring! Love your outfits and accessories.
Perfection! Finally, I had no idea that Reubens rose to fame in Omaha. Thanks for dropping some knowledge on me. :) πΈππΈπ LOL I find this very doubtful, but it never fails someone will tell me this while out to dinner. I have a friend who loves them. Even someone in my family always has to have one when we all go out together. (I think Thousand Islands is the secret sauce) Although, I have never wanted one. While on the other hand, I am a sucker for Schlotsky's original made on sourdough. Which was started in Austin Texas. And of course, is quite a meal with all sorts meats and cheese and lots of lettuce, tomatoes, onions and black olives. It's a lot like a muffalata with mustard.
Love those JS boots!
Fun looks! Love your plaid skirts!

Okay, I love absolutely everything about this post!!!! The striped sweater in the first photo is so cute and fun, and so is your bag! It has that preppy look, especially paired with the headband. The tartan print you have in your outfits is gorgeous - I've always loved tartan! The Tweety bird top looks killer with the yellow accessories. And those BARRETTES!!! What a great SHEIN find! I love checkered print. I love your pink phone purse and pink boots, too! Lastly, I love the rainbow theme at the end of this post, from your shirt to the unicorn wallet. The Lucky Lemon Necklace is adorable and perfect for St. Patrick's Day coming up, and all of your other necklaces are stunning!! I totally agree that Scotch tape is awesome - you gotta have it!
Love the pink boots. Lots of tartan everywhere for sure.
