Make and Tell Challenge, Day 92: Getting a Jump on Christmas with a Mystery Project

I have a bunch of gifts in my head that I want to make for my family. So, tonight I made one of them, not wanting to get too behind. But you know the rules -- I can't show you until after Christmas. I wanted to forge ahead and start work on something I could show you, but that didn't quite pan out. Hopefully that will happen tonight.
