Top: Simply Vera, Kohl's

Skirt: Rewind, Kohl's

Sweater: Mudd, Kohl's

Bag: Ella & Elly, Zulily

Shoes: Chase & Chloe, Zulily

Top: So, Kohl's

Bag: Mellow World, Kohl's

Scarf scrunchie: Wild Fable, Target

Sunny Seahorse Necklace

Top: So, Kohl's

We've all heard of mom jeans (I'm looking at you, SNL JCPenney jeans skit that I've referenced too many times).  And even boyfriend jeans.  But dad jeans?!  Until about a month ago, I thought that phrase was limited to being about inheriting the ability to tell corny jokes.  Yet apparently, it also describes a super wide, super comfortable, and (at least on me) super long cut of denim.  I almost wore this patched pair to Target but thought better of it, not wanting to trip and become a cleanup on aisle five.

Jeans: So, Kohl's

That said, I'm still unsure how to feel about pants named after the patriarchy.  Then again, their vibe is more Woodstock than why-is-there-a-scratch-on-my-Caddy?  So I guess it's okay to hang with the man and keep these in the family.

Unless, of course, the family's wearing khakis.

That flower pattern on your blouse is so beautiful. I like this type of pattern and how you style it. You have such an unique and amazing style.

Oh, so cool..Dad pants with patches..WOW. But I definitely know what you mean about pants too long! Lovely plaids and so much more in the post. In love with that bag!

Thanks for your comment about Sal! Oh, the almost drama at Thanksgiving for my friend. Oddly, their mom went to Colorado too. She was supposed to be there for Thanksgiving with all her kids who were upset with her. But the siblingsgiving went on without a problem.

Of course, I can't say if Sal made an impression on anyone or not. Maybe. Thanks again, for your comments!

Oh, so many cool things in this post. Cool name for a necklace "Tiger Heat" Love the pop of pink you are wearing in those shoes in the Dad Jeans photo too! Those family jeans!

Thanks so much for reading and your wonderful comment. I hope I'm not meandering too much. Yet, a lot of drama I watch I found..these people never eat and then to wonder..well, how do they? It's not all magic. Hope you are having a great start to December❤...

So awesome! Love your treasures! Such fun commentary too about "jeans" I don't know if I ever found the perfect pair. I am sure..once upon a time. Oh, and those Kahis which I have never learned the correct spelling.

This week, has felt so long already with extra hours. Today we are giving out zoo passes for peeps who bring food for the food pantry. A previous co-worker who does PR for the pantry is the one who started this..in a good cause. Although, we have had only one Wayward person to sneak away with a can of corn. (we have a feeling she was on drugs) Yet, we are a far cry from what the bigger urban library or two has to put up with. Yet, we have had a few homeless find their way to us. Anyway, here is hoping more will bring in some good stuff to the food pantry.

Thank you so much for your comments. Oh, I know I have plenty of touchy subjects. And many I have been thinking for quite a while. Although, it's strange where inspiration will come from..like the co-worker talking about her jeep named Charles.

All the best to a blissful December❤💕🤞

Oh, so many colorful plaids. Love the necklace too! Awesome showcase. I have not heard about the Dad jeans.

I hope you are having a good week after Thanksgiving..just catchup here..I'm afraid. I am looking forward to Friday. But I guess I should be glad to be busy. I met a new co-worker yesterday and the person who hired him says to me.."Doesn't he look like young Jason Biggs?" and I say, "It's hard to say, he's wearing a mask."

Thanks so much for your comments. I am sure I jump into a lot things with new characters and strange circumstances.

All the best to your creativity! & amazing reviews!

Adoring the post! Such inspiring color! Oh, the changing times of jeans! I love that old SNL skit❤.

I am so happy to report that Candy Cane Lane tea is back! So naturally, I am ready for the holidays. Possibly. And of course, crocheting more than I should. I saw this volunteer yesterday from the library book sale room and she'd hurt her wrist. She said she was knitting too much. Oh, the horror!

All the best to stay inspired and creative!

P.s...Oh, I did find "Vanna" at Dolls Kill! Oh, such character! Now if I could find "Roman" ... thanks for letting me know. Maybe she'll be the next model like Bridgette Saddlemier (I know that is probably the wrong spelling) But I loved her outfits on Forever 21 who is my "Macy"..although, I rarely write anything about her, anymore.

Your outfits are so stylish!!! I love the long-sleeved crop top with your sassy patchwork jeans! They're eye-catching and look great with the hot pink heels. (Side-note: love the feathers underneath the stool!) The mix of florals with the plaid is unexpected and ultra cool - as is your feather-like Kohl's handbag. It's seriously an amazing purse! Your necklaces are fantastic too, and oh so colorful. The Tiger Heat necklace is striking with the black and orange, and looks great with your Cheetos-inspired outfit! Lastly, I've never heard of dad jeans, ever! They look incredibly hip. :)

Stunning outfits and accessories. Now let's see which are my favorites. I love the black boots in the first photo, the tiger heat necklace, and the little floral purse. Your photo enhancement is fun and love your stance in your doorway !

Well that's interesting. Wouldn't it be like the boyfriend sweater? Dad jeans, mum jeans, etc. Next you'll have the older/little sister jeans... Who knows where this will end.
