When I saw the husband's brand-new, neon yellow extension cord in our backyard, I knew that it would be a prime picture prop.  And the day I wore my fish-print, L'Amour by Nanette Lepore for JCPenney dress was as good a time as any to use it.  L'Amour isn't even a thing anymore (well, the brand; love never goes out of fashion, ha ha), which gives you an idea how long I've had this aquatic frock and twinning jacket.  Anyway, I was excited to wear it (the dress, not the jacket; it was an oven out there!) to the post office.  They know me and are used to my getups, but the clerk who processed my package looked more amused than usual.  Staring at my illustrated mailer, she once asked if I was an artist, and I said, "I like to think so."  That seemed to amuse her too.  She'd bust a gut if I told her about the extension cord.

Speaking of which, it was the husband's idea to tie it around my waist while I struck a superhero pose.  I'd been content to stand demurely while it circled me on the ground.  But that's one of the things I love about him.

He's never afraid to go there.

Fantastic Friday post! LOVE THIS...from head to toe. Oh, always great seeing what you put together. And such cool creations you come up with in what you make, too! I was at Target yesterday. Really, the way they display things, I still feel I miss so much. Maybe it's because I head to clearance first thing!

❤️🍔❤️🍔❤️🍔❤️🍔❤️🍔❤️🍔

Thanks so much for your comments! My weekend at the library. Oh, lets hope I survive! It has been hot and humid here. Recently, I stopped by Salvation Army to see if I could be inspired, but I couldn't stay in the place. They have no AC. Just huge fans that produce their own heat. I felt so bad for the place. After all, they have a foodtruck that feed children at our library through the week. I hear they haven't had any AC all summer.

Oh, this is crazy..I can't even comment on my own blog. I have been having some very strange issues as of late. When I try to type up a post it will suddenly change words on me and all sort of crazy things. I hope you aren't having these issues.

P.S. About Jory...Oh, those are Jory's adoptive parents (and yes that is Glen) and they were the ones who wanted him to be a doctor. Of course, she might not have been so happy with Jory at the time it happened, but since it worked out...no I would never advise having the baby at home. But recently, I hear more stories of people having babies on the way to the hospital. Yes, some find it hard for the hospital to even want them there until the last minute.

What a fabulous post with fabulous outfits!! All of these outfits are amazing with their vibrancy and attention to detail. You most definitely, without a doubt, are an artist. From your jewelry creations to your hair accessories, down to your clothing pieces and the way you use colorful paper props in your photos...all of it shines with artistry! The fruit theme here is awesome; those SHEIN barrettes are too darn cute! And your poses with the extension cord are so creative. It's cute how your husband had the idea to tie it around your waist! You both make a creative pair. :) Your wardrobe in this post is poolside-ready, which totally fits with the photo of you by the pool!

So many summer goodies! Love the bright colors and so many cool accessories too! Hope your weekend is going good. I did at least sleep very well last night because usually I don't, right before a Saturday at work. We have Pawsitive Reading in the morning and Legos Club in the afternoon. Although, I am not sure if we should have all these gathering just yet. But of course I did go out to GOOD EVANS for a 🍔. Although, we went very early. It's a new brunch place in the city.

Happy Weekend ❤️

You clothing and accessories are always so much fun! You look summery, festive, and cool. Have you ever seen the British television detective series, Agatha Raisin? I think you would enjoy getting a look at her clothes. I think they get better and better with each season. Lots of color, interesting combinations, SHOES!!, and fab accessories.
