One look at my wardrobe confirmed what I already knew: I have a lot of clothes and accessories with lemons.  And cherries and strawberries and watermelons and bananas and pineapples, but I'll get to them before the farm stands become graveyards for cornhusk tumbleweeds.  (As evidenced by my masked mug above, I did recently make it to the local stand with the husband to pick out some produce.  Also pie, produce's prettier cousin.)  Anyway, I thought it would be fun to incorporate as many lemon things as I could into five outfits.  Even if it was also a little like playing Tetrus.  As in, if I use the lemon wedge clutch with this skirt, then it blocks me from using a lemon-print top because the yellows will blend together.  Yet if I use that skirt, then I'll have nothing to go with the polka dot shoes.  But I love a fashion challenge, so I stuck it out.  I mixed my citrus stuff with fuchsia, and before I knew it, I had pink lemonade.

Which is a party perfect drink if ever there was one.  Not to mention a delicious way to prevent scurvy.

Whenever you're sailing on the style sea, make sure you have plenty of vitamin C.

Interesting. You challenged me to look at my wardrobe and I realized that I do not own a single piece of clothing that has lemons, strawberries, or any fruit on it! We do love and devour lemons and lemonade, so I do love the theme. I was immediately attracted to the white and black polka dot shoes from LC Lauren Conrad, but doubt I could walk in them. All the outfits are cute and I love your pose among the flowers. The yellow shoes and accessories are uplifting and are my favorites! Your posts are so much fun!! Have a great week.

What an awesome theme! Lemons! 🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋 An absolute favorite here too, but I don't think I own anything with lemons on it. Such lovely summer outfits! I love those tropical slides too! Although, I did not wear anything like those last night. Sneakers, for sure...because that meant watching fireworks that some were setting off in the front yard.🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋 >>>>>>>>>> I truly enjoyed hearing about your jello mold. Oh, the suspense! Here, it's amazing the red, white and blue jello cake even made it to the party. I decided to make it parfait style since it looked pretty sad all on its own in the graham cracker crust. Plus it needed its red and blue jello actually in it. The lid could hardly stay on. So it was secured in Rubbermaid. Just as I was getting it out of the basement fridge along with the pasta salad, it slipped and took a nose dive..but the lid was secure..so I went on with it. And somebody ate everything on her plate while her brother had a real struggle with the pasta salad...waiting for the Jello Cake. Oh, the words right up there with "YOU ARE THE BEST" came out as.."This cake is delicious! Can I have more!" So of course, that made my night. I'm glad your Jello mold turned out! I have a co-worker who makes these really unique designs with her jello mold. It looks like something out of a 60's women's magazine. She says it might take days to make since she has to do it in layers.🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂 Thanks so much for your comment about Jade & Tristan. I don't know..something about first getting to know each other of course, right up there with a chemical reaction, but it's interesting how we do build up walls, yet break them down so easily too. And of course, back to Cori and Megan and all their struggles too.

So refreshing! Love the broch too! So colorful! Oh, and those bags! Such great outfits for summer! Yes, you do have a lot of lemon things. I love the pop of color they give! Such a fabulous weekend post 🍋💕❤️🍋💕❤️🍋 Of course, after Saturday night's party I am ready to rest up the rest of the weekend. Hope all is going well there. We did have some chances of rain, but it cleared up. Although, we really do need rain. There are way too many shooting off fireworks in the neighborhood. There is just too much smoke in the air at night. Yes, the sad part of the 4th. Happy 4th 🎇🎆🎇

I love fabric with lots of color.I don't sew, mind you, I just love it and tend to collect it, who knows why? This is why I always enjoy reading your blog because it features such beautiful fabric in such funky clothing. I am totally in LOVE with this lemon top. I would have never paired it with pink, but the look is fabulous! Keep it going, girl!

Oh, we do need our citrus! Now doubt. Love these prints. Awesome bobbles too! Such a sweet post of fashion and more! Hope you are having a good Sunday. Oh, I had to sleep in today. I am so tired. I didn't sleep well last night. But I hope I am in sync now. I still have Monday to get through. Happy 4th ❤️💙❤️🍋

Thank you so much for your comment! Recently, I heard from a co-worker of how her father was robbed and beaten up by teens who stole his medications. I also heard from a friend who's husband used to live in this town near the Osarks who's family was robbed several times. I was so in shock. Of course, I had to write about a robbery.🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋 Meanwhile, I love your spin on lemons. Such an amazing post!

Lemon-themed outfits, yes please!!! Each one of your lemon printed outfits is so cute and summery; I love that they each have their own little personality! And the lemon clutch is adorable with your hot pink top, blue skirt and polka dot hair bow. The two lemon dresses are amazingly cute!! My favorite top is the hot pink one, especially with the background of colorful flowers behind you. The shots of your accessories are so fun and color-coordinated! I adore how you incorporate the summery fruits into your wardrobe, and you mastered the fashion challenge by creating this pink lemonade theme! Lastly, I love how you rhymed the last line. :)
