Another Tote Trove Giveaway, Holiday Style!

As you know from my recent Make, I've been trying my hand at some Christmas jewelry. I finished my little eraser necklaces in the wee hours of the morning, then listed them in my shop before I fell asleep. Today it occurred to me that I probably won't sell all four necklaces before Christmas, so why not raffle off one in a giveaway?

This fun, festive accessory would be perfect to wear to a Christmas party and may even make a quirky little stocking stuffer! The necklace is made of wire, plastic beads, and erasers (of course!), measures approximately 6.5" from top to bottom, and closes with a lobster claw clasp.

To enter, please follow this blog, then comment on this post. In your comment, tell us about the weirdest gift you ever received, for the holidays or otherwise. If you can't think of something weird, then a favorite gift will do. Be sure to include your email so I can contact the winner!

Because I want the winner to get the most mileage out of her necklace, this giveaway will be a short one and will close on Monday, December 14, at midnight. I'll notify the winner that night, and as soon as I receive her mailing address, I'll ship the package.

I almost forgot -- the winner will receive a few seasonal surprises in addition to the necklace. To get your imagination running, here's a shot of the First Ever Tote Trove Giveaway prize package, won by EtsyNJ artist Lori Citsay of Lori Citsay Jewelry, www.LoriCitsay.etsy.com. (The prize advertised in the giveaway was the Medium Cherry Crush Tote.)

Good luck and Happy Holidays to all!

Because I used to be a teacher, I received a LOT of gifts from my students. I know all the gifts were given in love, but the strangest one was a "gold" jaguar statuette (about 6 in high) with a clock for a stomach. Very.....interesting looking, to say the least.

Hi!!! *waves* what a cute idea for a necklace! I luckily haven't gotten any outlandish gifts, but the first year my now-husband joined us for the holidays, my grandmother (bless her heart) bought him a baby blue polo shirt with a giant penguin on it! LOL!! My man was good about it, he smiled and thanked her for the gift and assured her that it was the correct size and it would fit perfectly!

The weirdest gift I ever got, that's easy. My MIL gave me a plastic cactus lamp. It was about a foot and a half tall and ten inches across. It was so ugly we couldn't even give it away on freecycle. No one wanted this ugly thing. We finally threw it in the garbage.
