Something New and Sparkly: Grade School Gourmet

Fabulous Felt Peanut Butter and Jelly Necklace

Sweater: American Living, JCPenney
Jeans: Zana Di, Boscov's
Shoes: Rocket Dog, DSW
Bag: Chinese Laundry, JCPenney

I still enjoy a good peanut butter and jelly sandwich every now and then.  My version of choice is creamy Jif and Smucker's strawberry preserves between two pieces of Wonder bread.  Laugh if you must, but when you think about it, the sugared fruit and nut spreads make for a somewhat sophisticated, downright Mediterranean combination.  Now, if only I could come up with a strong defense for my Juicy Juice juice boxes . . .

Ahhh, peanut butter and jelly on Wonder! Yes, you and I are definitely from the same outta-this-world planet! At least our palates are. LOL!

Lovely necklet creation <--Actually, looks YUM-good enuff to eat!

P.S. More on butters: lately, I've been eating pumpkin butter like it's going out of style. (And "yep" to spooned right out of the jar and into my mouth when nobody's looking, as well!) I can't be sure if it tastes more like October or November. No matter, it is dee-lish! If you care to take it for a test drive, might I suggest my (store-bought-->)favourite? Three cheers for Dickinson's Country Pumpkin Butter! (It's superb mixed into vanilla yogurt, too.)

Butters are the best! I myself am partial to Dickinson's lemon curd and do not judge you a whit for indulging in their pumpkin version with such abandon. I'll have to give it a try.
