This shirt came from Express by way of Marshalls (don't you just love how they X out the brand name on the tag with that thick gold marker?). It was a bargain at just $7.99. No handmade accessories here, though.
Last night I finally broke out this horseshoe necklace, which I made myself. The horseshoe and faux pearls were upcycled from two of my older necklaces. I got the charms at Michael's and strung these ribbon roses onto jump rings. I love the antique effect, maybe because it's so different from what I usually wear.
Here I'm modelling my new Mr. Sunshine Frog Necklace, which I purchased from Design by Cassandra. I love Cassandra's use of playful elements, like this rubber frog, in her jewelry. Another great thing about Design by Cassandra is the way everything is so meticulously and eclectically packaged. I'm also wearing a Hello Kitty bracelet that looks like a watch; it's really a lip gloss nestled in a jelly watch band. I picked it up at Target for just $1.
