I had to showcase yet another fanciful creation from Buffalo Blue Designs. This gorgeous peacock is mounted on a metal clip and was probably intended to be worn as a barrette. But my head is kind of small, so I improvised and attached it to my shirt instead. If you look closely, you'll see that the shirt (a $2.98 clearance rack special from JCPenney, thank you very much) is printed with subtle peacock feathers, so this accent is perfect. I've been seeing feathers on clothes and accessories in all kinds of stores at the mall this fall, so Buffalo Blue Designs was definitely ahead of the curve (I got my peacock pal last spring.).
