I heat up Mrs. T's Pierogies about once a week. Four cheese, cream cheese and chives, broccoli cheddar, I love them all (Well, maybe not all. I can do without the jalapeno cheddar). But tonight I decided to be a little more adventurous. So, I tossed the broccoli cheddar variety, diced ham, and chopped apples in a skillet with some olive oil and sprinkled a little shredded cheddar on top. I served it with a crisp green salad, which I thought a nice complement to all that cheese. The result? It was delicious, if a little heavy, with a kind of smoked harvesty flavor from the apples and ham.
By the way, did you know that you can get these pierogies in bags of 70?! The first time I saw this in ShopRite I almost died laughing.

I love pierogies sooo much! I haven't had them in awhile. I wonder if I can find fresh ones somewhere around here, hmmm!
I didn't even know you could get them fresh -- which is a sad commentary on my eating habits. They sound tasty.
